Although I have other finance and budget spreadsheets that do a lot more than this one, if you are looking for a very simple way to keep track of your money, this worksheet can help you get started.
SIMPLE EXPENSE REPORT TEMPLATE FOR EXCELDOWNLOAD
This expense report is a simple spreadsheet template for documenting the date, type, and total amount for each expense. You can customize the template by changing the column headings for categorizing expenses, or adding new columns if needed. MONTHLY INCOME AND EXPENSE TEMPLATE FOR EXCELDOWNLOAD
Use this template to track monthly earnings and expenses. This Excel cost template provides a simple spreadsheet format and calculates the totals for you. They can be customized to include the spend you want to track. Each month is a separate sheet on which you can track monthly and annual expenses.
EVENT BUDGET TEMPLATE FOR EXCELDOWNLOAD
This event budget template provides detailed lists of spend and revenue sources and compares the projected and actual totals. It contains a pie chart that shows a breakdown of the spending and the percentage of the budget used by each category. This facilitates the creation of a visual report of the expenses for events that can be shared with others. Compare the profits and losses to inform the budget planning of your future event.
Definition: A report that tracks expenses incurred during the course of performing necessary job functions. Examples include charges for gas, meals, parking or lodging.
If your employees spend a lot of money in cash, you need to make sure you have them list these expenditures on an expense report form. Have them attach the receipts to the back of the form so you can double check the entries on the form against the actual receipt. You or your bookkeeper will then add in the expense codes and write them a check for reimbursement of the expenses.
